Any way to configure Synapse profiles without detected device and/or edit mouse configs locally?

Some months ago my Naga disconnected when I was playing games. After some research others had found that reducing the lighting worked, so I set my lighting from 100% to about 10% - lo, the mouse worked again.

Yesterday I accidentally switched to an old profile that had 100% lighting, and it bricked my mouse. It connects for 1 second, then disconnects both from Synapse as well as my computer. However, the lighting is still on - and on the coloration of the old profile I had, so there's got to be some sort of local memory storage that remembers the profile.

While originally I thought this was a software problem of Synapse, given its track record, but now it seems that it's a hardware issue with the power supply from the USB port and cable to the mouse itself.

The mouse was fully functional before I swapped, and I'd like to try and get it working again. But since Synapse doesn't let me change profiles while the mouse is undetected, I need a way of turning down the lighting locally to get the mouse to function again. Anyone know a way?
