Apex Legends Chroma integration broken with DirectX 12

Dear Razer Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue regarding Razer Chroma effects in Apex Legends. Since the game/system transitioned to DirectX 12, the lighting integration has stopped working completely.

Currently, the game is not even recognized by the Chroma Apps tab in Synapse as a compatible application anymore. It seems like the DX12 mode breaks the link between the game and the Chroma Connect module.

Could anyone from the support team clarify why this is happening and when we can expect a fix or an update to support DX12? I would really like to have my lighting effects back.

Thanks in advance!

APEX LEGENDS

Please go comment and upvote this.

There are two errors. One the game does not save the lighting effects option. Two Razer does not see Apex Legends.

Just giving more information about this as I had been on Windows 11 with Synapse 4 using the dx12 option in game. It was just the update when the permanent change was made that this stop working. The only thing that is missing from where we were is Axle.

Razer detects Apex Legends for linked games feature and switches my keybinds appropriately.

Come on Razer, please fix this. At least respond to give us an update.

Until somebody of significance says something to Apex Legends developers this is gone. Majority of the community complained it took over their lighting. Even though there were two different ways to disable this.

I just want my chroma effect...

😆 I gave up! I use SignalRGB now. They have had it the whole time and it's better. They run ambient awareness then trigger events have special effects. Did you know you can put health and shields on different devices? I'll have to set this up for real and show it off. I was doing shields on Aether light bars and health on Firefly. It was so cool!

They use screen triggers. So not as good as something that can take triggers straight from a game. If only there was a software that controlled Razer products to let this happen...

It's been there the whole time. It's called SignalRGB. They fixed my whole PC.
