Atheris mouse configuration

Hi Forum, I just purchased an Atheris mouse and installed Razer synapse on Windows 7. When I click on the synapse program nothing happens. When I go to change the mouse properties, only two buttons show up. When i click the DPI button, nothing happens. Is there a driver or something else i need to install to access the mouse buttons config? Thanks in advance.

Hi, thank you for replying. The problem turned out to be that the mouse doesn't have full functionality without an Internet connection and the 350MB of software to run a mouse. Either Razer doesn't know how to write a simple mouse driver or they are doing something I don't want them to do with my computer. My friends and I think they are mining bitcoin with this software. :) Needless to say, I returned the mouse.

Thanks for letting me know. I respect your decision. However, that's a misconception. The Razer Synapse can operate offline after downloading it from our website. The Razer Synapse has an option to log in as a "Guest User" and will not require Razer ID to customize a device. It will only offer supplemental updates once your computer connected to the internet. Also, Razer Softminer is not a cryptocurrency and the user has an option to install it or not. Don't hesitate to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
