Audio on my headset works but microphone isnt at all

Hi ! For months my microphone on one of my razer headsets hasn’t been working. It only picks up audio on my laptop which is of course terrible. I’ve tried to fix this issue but I have no idea what to do and don’t know what type my headset is I’m begging please help I don’t think that it even gets detected by my laptop in settings. The audio however is perfect it makes no sense to me how the audio can be perfect but so much error with the microphone.
