Dear Razer Support,

I recently purchased a Razer BlackShark V2 X headset and I would like to verify whether the product is genuine and officially manufactured by Razer.

Product: Razer BlackShark V2 X White
P/N: RZ04-03240700-R3M1
Serial Number: (removed for security purposes)

I have attached photos of the packaging. Could you please confirm whether the product and serial number are genuine?

I am also having an issue when registering the device. The Razer Synapse software requires a 7.1 Surround Sound activation/product key, but I am unable to register or activate the 7.1 Surround Sound feature. Could you please let me know how I can obtain the required 7.1 activation key or activate this feature?

Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Abderrahim

Hey there, @ventureRoyalPurplecar839

Upon checking the serial number, it shows a record in our system, which indicates that your Razer BlackShark V2 X White is a genuine Razer product.

However, the device has already been registered three times by different previous owners. Because of this, the headset can no longer be registered to a new account, which is also why the 7.1 Surround Sound activation key and registration process are unavailable.

If the headset was purchased second-hand or from a reseller, the previous registrations remain associated with the device, preventing further registration and activation of the bundled 7.1 Surround Sound feature.

Please note that application codes, such as the 7.1 Surround Sound activation code, are designed for one-time use and are non-transferable. If the code has already been registered and activated, unfortunately, we are unable to provide a new code.

I highly recommend reaching out directly to the reseller from whom you purchased the device. They should be able to assist you further with your concerns and explore potential resolutions. Also, this will be the quickest way for you to get a replacement.

Also, I have edited your post and removed your device's serial number for security purposes. If you have any questions, please send me a PM, and I'll be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
