Hi everyone,
I have been using the Razer Blackshark V2 X headset for about one year, and I have been noticing a recurring and very strange problem.
Whenever the physical volume wheel on the headset is set to the middle position (this happens both in normal stereo mode and with 7.1 surround sound enabled), the left speaker becomes noticeably quieter or partially muted compared to the right one.
If I turn the volume wheel slightly up or down and then move it back to the middle position, the sound immediately becomes normal again.
It almost feels as if the left side goes into some kind of “power-saving” or reduced output mode when the wheel is exactly in the center.
The problem occurs on two different computers:
-
one laptop, and
-
one desktop PC (tower).
Because the issue happens on multiple systems, I believe it is very likely related to the headset itself or the volume wheel.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a reliable fix for this?
