Hi all,
I've just upgraded the storage on my Razer Blade 15 Base (2020). However, I can't get the back plate fully on, as the front screws will not go all the way in. The back came off very easily and I did this delicately with a T5 screwdriver. Making things worse, it looks like one the back, back screws is shredded, despite no pressure. Are Razer Blades known to have poor quality screws or is this an unusual incident?
I've only owned this laptop for 72 hours and I'm feeling very worried and frustrated that it's now ruined. Especially as £1,500+ is not a small investment. Given that upgrading a Razer Blade is made easy, I'm also very concerned that the warranty is now void - even though it appears to be an issue with the quality of the parts.
Does anyone know how I can get the screws in? How can a fully inserted shredded screw be removed?

This is highly likely an isolated incident. Since the laptop is fairly new, we can submit a warranty claim instead of removing the stripped screws and/or standoffs instead. Do send me the serial number of the laptop so I can get things rolling.
