Hi vonchung123,

The issue you are experiencing indicates a pairing or detection failure between your Razer Barracuda X headset and its USB dongle. The light sequence (blinking green then blue) suggests it's trying to connect via Hyperspeed Wireless (green) but then switching to Bluetooth pairing mode (blue) because the dongle isn't recognized or connected. Try the steps below:

  1. Try plugging the dongle directly into a different USB port on your laptop or PS5, avoiding USB hubs or front panel ports if possible. The dongle works best when connected directly.
  2. Restart your laptop or PS5. A simple reboot can often clear temporary glitches that prevent device detection.
  3.  If you have the 2022 model or newer with SmartSwitch, ensure the headset is in the 2.4 GHz wireless mode. Double-press the SmartSwitch button on the headset to toggle between Hyperspeed Wireless (green LED) and Bluetooth (blue LED) modes.
  4. Download the Razer Headset Pairing Utility, then open it and follow the on-screen instructions. It will guide you through connecting the dongle and the headset via cable (if required by your model's utility).
  5. The software will detect the devices and prompt you to press the "Pair" button to establish a new connection.
  6. After the utility indicates a successful pairing, unplug the headset cable (if used), turn it off, and then back on to check if it now connects automatically with a static green light.
  7. If the dongle is not detected by the utility or the PC at all ("Unknown USB Device" error), then update the headset’s Firmware.
  8. On your computer, right-click the Start button and open Device Manager. Expand "Audio inputs and outputs" or "Sound, video and game controllers". Right-click the Barracuda X entry and select "Uninstall device". Restart your PC, and Windows will automatically reinstall the drivers.
