Barracuda X (2022) mic does not pick up sound

Today I tried connecting the headset to my PC for the first time. I hear sounds just fine, but the mic doesnt pick up any sound. Done all sorts of troubleshooting and settings checking (windows sound, system sound, razer pairing utility, windows troubleshooting, razer mic support video and all mentioned repairs), but the mic still doesnt pick up any sound (all show 0% sound). Headset is almost new and is connected to the PC wih USB dongle.
I am completely at a loss, any tips appreciated.
