Barracuda X chroma not connecting to dongle

bestPalmLeafalley251

i insert the dongle to my pc with the type A adapter, not straight type C. my pc reads the dongle as barracuda X chroma. i turn on the headset and then it says "turn on", then "pairing.." and after a minute or two, it says power off. Meanwhile is not connecting to the pc

PS. i dont have bluetooth on my pc

I’ve had mine for about 2 weeks and has worked fine using the dongle. But I connected the headset to my tv using bt and that also worked fine, but now i cant get it to connect back to my pc using the dongle. Ive unpaired it from the tv but i still wont connect.

When i turn the headset on it tries to pair using bt, if i use the hyperspeed wireless mode it tries to connect for 10 secs and then switches back to pairing on bt.

I've got it to work again. Had to use the usb-a connector and then use the razer headset pairing software.

It is like the dongle may not be fully compatible with the Type A adapter (*Removed spam - House Rules). Have you tried plugging it directly into a USB Type-A port? That could help establish a more stable connection.

That's what i did. Just weird it worked fine for weeks with the usb-c.

Please try the headset pairing utility from Barracuda X’s support page and perform the following steps here. Feel free to send me a PM should you need further assistance.
