I have a PC with windows 10. After connecting the Type-C Wireless dongle, they appear as Speakers and MICRO doesnt works, the sound does, but this is a big bug. Please I need support on this or I will return my purchase tomorrow.

Hi haroskun,

I understand that your Barracuda X is recognized as speakers, and the microphone is not working as expected on your computer. To isolate the issue, please try the steps below:

  1. On your PC, kindly check the Sound Settings:
    • Right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "Sounds."
    • Go to the "Playback" tab and ensure your headset is set as the default communication device.
    • Under the "Recording" tab, make sure the headset microphone is set as the default device
  2. Try using the wireless dongle in a different USB port.
  3. Try testing the headset on another PC to determine if the issue occurs there as well. This will help identify whether the problem is with the headset itself or to the original PC setup.

If the problem persists, PM me with your headset's serial number so I can verify your device model and check for other workarounds. I’d appreciate it if you could share a list of the steps you’ve tried so far, so I can scratch them off my list. Thank you!
