Barracuda X Mic Connection Issue

I recently purchased the Barracuda X. It sounds hooked up easily wirelessly and sounds great. However, as soon as I plug in any mic to the slot, I lose all sound and the microphone does not work. I tried the mic that comes with the headset and another from a previous headset, both caused the issue. I double checked my settings and assured that everything was set to the Barracuda headset and microphone.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried connecting the headset to another USB port? Does the issue happen even when it's plugged into your computer's 3.5mm port? Please follow the steps from this video and see if it helps.
