- Won't recognize its there, make it available for selection as an audio device etc. Device isn't anywhere to be found in Sound > Playback etc.
- Will make it available and grab it, but it has no sound. Windows reverts back to onboard speakers and then the device isn't anywhere to be found in Sound > Playback etc.
- Connects and I have sound and voice no problem. I disconnect the headset and I have no sound via device speakers and same with mic.
- Connects, I have sound. Windows will not recognize the mic and a valid input. Even set as default.
Barracuda X - No sound, windows does not see device
I recently purchased this headset, and when they work I really enjoy them sound is great and everything. But when they don't work it's a total nightmare and I spend more time trying to get them to work than doing other things I'd rather be doing.
I have run through the troubleshooting guides, and tried making them a default device ect. At this point I have no idea what the problem is.
When I plug in the adapter via the USB and turn on the headset, windows will do one of three things, and it is repeatable:
