Barracuda X not charging, brand new

So i am having this exact issue with a brand new Barracuda X i bought today.

Brand new out of the box, will not charge (not on USB, not on a separate controlled power supply (shows no currnent at all) nor on regular charger. 

It blinks red twice fast, and stops after a short period. 

Second scenario it just maintains a steady red an does not charge. 

 

I cannot find any info about either status led, please assist.

Is shows up in Windows however, so the dongle works fine. 

Except i cannot connect the headphone because i am not able to turn it on.
