Hi, I bought a new barracuda x less than a month ago and this is my first problem with it. I’ve noticed that pressing the mute button on the headset does not actually mute the mic. Theres another thread with the same problem but it was sent to dms so I’m not sure what the solution was. Im connecting to my windows laptop through the USBC dongle.

I’m having this same issue, it’s worked in the past but suddenly now it doesn’t toggle.
I am having the same issue. Suddenly stopped muting when pressing the mute button.
Same here, bought it 3 weeks ago, and stared noticing it almost 2 weeks ago, also dosent work on bluetooth or 2.4g, i havent tried analog yet, but i am doubtful
I figured out a fix, at least for me, the problem was that my apps were defaulting to my webcam mic instead of my headphone mic which led to these problems, hopefully this helps
im having the same problem it started today. i’ve had this headset for about 4 or 5 years now and it just started doing it
