Barracuda X poor sound quality and dobgle not pairing

I recently purchased the Barracuda X. when i use the 3.5mm jack with my desktop the audio quality is terrible, both loud and quiet at the same time. all human voices are very quiet but most music and sound effects are loud and distorted.

also i can’t seem to get the wireless dongle to work at all, my sound settings recognizes the barracuda X when i plug the dongle in, but i can’t get it to pair at all. It does pair perfectly with my phone (which i don’t need the dongle for) and the sound for that is perfect.

PLEASE HELP

Hey, @QcaineQ!

Try reinstalling your audio drivers by following the steps below:

  1. Press Windows key + S on the keyboard to open the Search bar.

  2. Type in "Device Manager" and hit enter.

  3. Expand "Audio inputs and outputs".

  4. Right-click on "Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)".

  5. Select "Uninstall device".

  6. Restart the computer. The drivers are automatically installed after the restart.

If that didn’t work, then send me a PM along with your headset’s serial number so I can check its exact variant and look for the appropriate firmware updater.
