Hi there to anyone able to help, 

I recently purchased a Razer Barracuda X wireless headset from Amazon on October 10th, 2023. Since then I have experienced many infuriating issues with the headset regarding its sound quality, mic quality and most importantly the headset turning off randomly. 

Regarding the sound quality, when connected to my PC, I’ll be playing music or gaming and the audio will cut out for a second and make a “bzzt” sound which is so annoying, whether I’m listening for footsteps or just in the zone listening to music. 

Next for the mic quality, this is the first mic I’ve ever had for my PC, and while some of my friends told me I should have a separate unit I just preferred having the plug and play ability. In game my friends noticed the mic has a problem peaking as well. 

Finally, for the most infuriating issue: the headset randomly powers off when connected to my iPhone 12, in the middle of a set when I’m at the gym, when my phone is 2ft from the damn headset, in the middle of the song, without touching ANY buttons, and on all default settings. I did try to update the drivers for the headset from the razer audio app but the headset is also unable to be found by the app even though my PC is connected to the headset. And no the headset is not dead I’ve seen it doing this at 85% power.

Any luck on this, I recently got the same headset at Target, only had it a month and having the same exact issues for no reason.  Sound just cuts out, mic cuts out or fizzle sounds and breaks up, headset randomly just turns off and not the normal “shutting off now” but just shuts off in middle of playing music.  Worst headset ever but it sounds great when it does work.  Going to see if still has warranty because its past return window at the store.

Razer if you read this - this is obviously a defective product and you should replace all of these.  The more I research the more I find other users having the same problem!
