So I bought a Razer Basilisk Ultimate a couple years ago because I preferred the side led wave effect as its displayed on the box. However I plugged it into Synapse 4 recently, the firmware required an update, and now the wave effect affects the entire mouse the same. In my opinion the mouse has lost its uniqueness and the new wave it has now is incredibly bland. I am not very experienced with Chroma Studio enough to change the lighting as when I applied Wave before on Synapse 3 it was automatic as its displayed on the box. I have attached 2 photos to further illustrate the difference I am referring to. I understand one of the photos looks like a still as I cant upload a short video to show what the wave affect looks like now but its a solid bar compared to what it looks like on the box.
