Basilisk V2 scroll wheel "button" to sensitive and conflicts with wheel roll | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I've owned a zillion mice over the years and this is the second time I've seen this super ANNOYING issue. I believe it was another brand but it was years ago when I first encountered it.

I bought a used Basilisk V2 from Amazon and thought it was defective. I then went to Best Buy and bought a brand new one and realized it was a "feature". Both mice had the same issue.

Short story:
I love the shape, it fits my hand very well but I can't deal with the issue of playing a FPS (BFV for example) and clicking the scroll wheel button the weapons change erratically when I didn't even roll the wheel.

It's to sensitive or a poor design? Is there a way to fix this or a setting I can change? The resistance is set to max so the weapons shouldn't be changing when I just click the mouse wheel down.

Please help.

It's odd that the Basilisk scroll wheel has a flaw and it's not obvious to anyone else. It doesn't happen with the Deathadder mice or the Viper mini I have.
