Basilisk V3 not detected by windows or synapse even on different devices... middle mouse button blinking green while other light zones doing rainbow | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

The mouse was working absolutely fine tille 3 hours ago when I put my device to sleep. when I turned it back on the mouse wasnt detecting so i tried reconnecting it. afterwords the led on the scroll wheen is blinking green and all other light zones are doing the default rainbow pattern. Windows AND Synapse 3 cannot detect the mouse, there is no cursor movement. the only activity is the lights. I have tried on multiple devices the outcome stays the same

theres is alot people with the same problem i even bought a new dongle and nothing. Razer didnt even respond to you. What a disgrace this company is. Real evil they only thnk about money. Razer is Trash.

Exactly the same issue here, since 2 days ago.

Working fine → went black → reconnected and rainbow pattern plus flashing green wheel. Nothing works.

Any updates on this topic? Could you fix it?

Disconnect the mouse, Delete absolutely all Razer software, run the Razer driver cleaner software, update windows (if possible), restart device, reconnect mouse... That worked 4 me

It happend the same for me, how can I solve the problem?

I contacted support through reddit , here is the message that helped me the most :

Let's try a different approach. We will remove all the drivers and related files needed by the Razer Basilisk V3 using a removal tool and reinstall them. Please carefully follow the steps below:

  1. Uninstall ALL Razer programs and apps, then restart the computer.

  2. Delete all Razer folders, which you can find in C:\Program Files(x86) and C:\Program Data. The Program Data folder is set to hide by default, so you might need to change the folder option first.

  3. Download the manual installer for Razer Synapse 3 here, but do not install it yet.

  4. Run this deriver cleaner. Then unplug the Razer Basilisk V3. Then restart your computer to uninstall the drivers completely.

  5. Reinstall Razer Synapse 3, DO NOT include the other modules (Chroma Connect, Chroma Studio, Cortex), then replug the Razer Basilisk V3 (with the cable) into your computer, and wait for a while, let the Synapse update the drivers automatically.

  6. Restart your computer again. Then, test the Razer Basilisk V3.

All sounds nice but still does not work.  Took the mouse and went to do a fresh new install on a desktop with no razer software and still getting the same issue.  Any other suggestions?
