Basilisk V3 not recognized on boot

Just like many other people with Razer products, my Basilisk V3 randomly stops being recognized on boot (by OS and Synapse both), forcing me to unplug and replug it in.

My OS is Windows 11, and it’s my understanding that this issue started popping up with this version of the system.

Other threads on the matter have been locked, there’s only dead ends. I’ve tried messing with driver settings, BIOS settings (I have an MSI motherboard) and whatnot to no avail.

This is an attempt to bring more attention on the matter, in hopes that someone with an actual working solution chimes in or that Razer themselves finally decide to investigate and release a firmware update.

In my specific case, the problem seems to be occurring more likely when the following happens:

  • PC left to idle for a long time (note: no sleep/hybernation involved, just turned on with no inputs given);
  • PC “woken up” (note again: PC was NOT sleeping, JUST idle) to be turned off right after;
  • PC presents the issue on the next boot.
