Basilisk V3 Pro profile button won't work with Synapse

I have a Basilisk V3 Pro with the dock. The button on the bottom of the mouse for switching the profiles has suddenly stopped working, but only when connected in 2.4 mode with synapse running. With bluetooth it works, and if It's connected in 2.4 mode without synapse running then it also works. I tested on multiple computers with the same dock, tried re-pairing the mouse and the dock, updated firmware for both the dock and mouse, updated synapse, updated windows, and I did a hard reset on the mouse, none of which solved the problem. Does anyone else have this problem? maybe I’m just doing something wrong here

I am facing exactly the same issue with the same mouse and the same behavior as described above.

I actually contacted with Razor about it, they sey “it is working as intended”. Is supposed to be just for on board memory usage.

That doesn’t really make much sense because some of the functions do not work onboard memory.

Also, it does work when it is using bluetooth, so ?

“Thank you for your reply and for sharing your thoughts with us. I understand your concern about the profile indicator not changing colors when Synapse is running, and I can see how this may feel inconvenient during use.

As confirmed with our product team, this is the expected design. When Synapse is active, the profile indicator LED will remain white, as the software manages the profiles directly. The color indicators are only used when Synapse is not installed or running, since the onboard memory is designed for standalone use.

That said, your feedback is very valuable. We’ve shared your comments with our team so they can be considered for future improvements.”  Thats what I get from them about it.

That’s not the issue, when using 2.4 connection, the LED remains white but doesn’t use any of the synapse key, profiles do changes accordingly based on focused game or software, but the keys do not work as intended. When using 2.4, I can’t change the profile on the mouse itself, so it’s not like it is acting if synapse is not controlling it.

Profiles do change, but light do not.

Correct, the profile do change in the synapse software, on the mouse it stuck on white LED when i’m on 2.4 and I can’t change anything on the mouse itself

Well nope, profiles do change with or without synapse, just light do not change with synapse. Seams like you got some other issue.

I’m not saying the profiles are not changing, i’m saying all the customized buttons are not working, they just become normal mouse functions.

For example, I have set one of the key to increase volume, it only works when I am in bluetooth mode, or else it would just a normal mouse button when it’s 2.4 mode

Not all settings can be writed to mouse memory, not RGB lighting for example, can only have defoult RGB or off. Your custom buttons do not work with synapse running?

Not only it’s just regular function buttons, synapse is also running. Correct, the mouse doesn’t use any of the mouse memory, it’s stuck in a weird environment where it is connected to synapse but it’s not loading synapse function and it’s not allowed to use on board memory

Again, this only happens when it’s in 2.4, works fine in bluetooth.
But the whole point of having the razer mouse dock pro and the mouse is cause of using 2.4

@MartinWong I have the same issue on macOS, if Synapse is running any customisation is ignored, but as soon as I quit Synapse, everything works fine (except customisations that need Synapse running of course)

Did you get any news from Razer concerning this issue?

Important point: I have this problem on macOS only, works fine on Windows.

Thanks
