Basilisk V3 Pro scroll wheel keeps switching by it's self

My mouse will automatically switch from Tactile to Free-Spin mode by it’s self. I might be in the middle of a game, suddenly my weapons are switching automatically due to this high sensitivity of the Free-Spin mode. I’ll use the button and switch it back to Tactile, but it will always switch back randomly. Any idea how I can stop this? I only want to use Tactile mode. In the mouse settings I have scroll acceleration = Off, Scrolling Mode = Tactile, SMART-REEL = Off

    Hi Cryptoz007,

     

    Your Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is likely experiencing a physical hardware malfunction with the internal electronic or mechanical scroll-switch actuator rather than a software configuration issue. Try the following: 

     

    1. Spray compressed air around the sides and crevices of the scroll wheel to dislodge any dust or loose particles interfering with the internal toggle mechanism.
    2. Unplug the mouse, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, then rapidly spam the tactile/free-spin toggle button or cycle modes quickly inside Razer Synapse for 10 seconds to try and unstick the actuator.
    3. Ensure a profile switch isn't triggering a macro or secondary command by testing the mouse on onboard memory mode or with Synapse completely closed.
