Hi,

 

I have a RZ01-0400 (wired Basilisk V3) which has been having a strange behavior when connected. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 1 second. I can’t update firmware because the connection is not stable. I tried connecting it to other 2 different computers, but the behavior is the same.

 

During the second when it’s on, the LED on the top with the Razer logo turn on briefly, the LED on the bottom right next to the “Profile” button also turn on, but the second after it’s off and it goes on in a vicious cycle.

 

I tried checking other posts, which appear to have the same problem - see links below.


I also called Razer support, and something odd (to say the least) happened: they requested for me to connect to another computer that does not have Razer Synapse installed. Initially, it worked and the mouse was ok. I went to update the firmware, then the behavior started again. It is clear to me that this is a software issue bricking my device, making it unusable.

 

The curious thing is that my mouse has its warranty expired since June 1st, 2024. When talking to the Phone Support personnel, their reaction was very rude, trying to end up the call very fast once I pointed that the software is bricking the device. I have the case number if necessary.

I've contacted Razer support on Monday. They are making me talk to a 4th different person and have been asking for 1-2 business days since Monday (today is Thursday).

 

This is by far the most ridiculous support I've had to deal with. No continuity, no solution. Just a big F*** YOU from Razer to customers.
