Recently the left mouse button started squeaking every so often. Is something wearing out and requiring replacement, or is this “normal” as the mouse ages?

Hey, @Hammer_1523!

This is normal due to age and long term use. Please try to use a can of compressed air and spray it in between the gaps. This issue is often caused by the contacts under the button being dirty. Furthermore, this can help remove static and any debris between the switch and housing. There's no need to remove the plastic cover from the mouse. I cannot say with certainty what type of dirt and debris may be on your product but I usually have a fair amount of luck cleaning it. Feel free to drop me a PM along with your mouse’s serial number if you need further assistance.
