Battery Bloating on Razer Blade 15 Base (2019) (RZ09-03006) | Razer Insider

After 2 years of use, my 2019 Razer Blade 15 base model has battery bloat. I can tell that the battery must be pressing on and deforming the touchpad, making it so it is misshapen and can't be clicked. You can see this in the photo I uploaded. I understand that this is a dangerous situation and I would really appreciate advice on how to safely extend my laptop's life. Thanks in advance!
What you can do depends on how you use it. You can choose to replace it or simply remove it and use it only while plugged in. I just had to remove mine today, but I keep mine plugged in anyway at home and work, so it's not a big deal for me. One day I'll get around to buying a replacement battery. But since we don't have frequent power losses, and I have a UPS, I feel comfortable using mine this way. You'll have to decide which you feel is better.

You can easily remove the bottom cover of your laptop if you have a T-5 star bit. 4 screws across the back, 4 across the front and 1 on each side. The cover lifts off. Then there are 5 screws holding in the battery - 1 on each corner and one in the middle near the front edge of the device. The back left one is partially under the drive cable so be careful here.
