BATTERY FULLY CHARGED AND POWER CONNECTED BUT GETTING LOW BATTERY WARNINGS | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Today, I received warning notifications on my desktop, two saying the batter was low, yet the battery icon on my computer shows it is fully charged.  Then, I get a notification that my Razer Laptop 15 Mercury White should be charged with the accompanying battery charging cord, or whatever, and that is what is hooked up and what I have always used.  This is very strange and makes me suspicious about something going on to mess with my computer.

Any ideas what is going on?

Did you ever figure this out?  Since Razer can’t really be bothered to provide support here.

I still get the “low power” message, sometimes.  Everything is always plugged in and connected, but there is an obvious weakness in plugin device, because all I do is “fiddle” with it until the little green light comes back on.  I also adjust the placement of the big power block that the cord connects to, to be sure it is not positioned in a way where gravity might be pulling on the connection, over time.  It’s really ridiculous.  The cord and power block are thick and sturdy, so the weakness is somehow in the inner parts.

When you get a notice that your battery is low, even when all connections appear to be secure, you just need to unplug and plug-in the cable that connects the box to your electrical input.  Sometimes, just “bend” and push in the connected part to see if it might be something just not connecting, inside.  It is really ridiculous, but it works.
