Battery icon displays 255% and won't run off battery

Hi Support folks, I just picked up a 2016 12.5 Blade Stealth. Everything is great except that the battery isn't working correctly. 1. The battery icon in the system tray shows AC and an X over it 2. When you hover over the icon it reads 255% available 3. If I unplug the laptop it will instantly shutdown (not using the battery at all 4. I reinstalled all the drivers off the razer drivers page for this model with no luck 5. I've tried uninstalling the battery in device manager and restarting. no luck 6. I've made sure that all windows updates are current with no luck Anything I'm missing that can help get me up and running because it's a beautiful machine. I just wish it would work properly. Cheers!

Your battery is probably dead already, which is why it can no longer hold a charge. That said, do send me the serial number of the laptop so I can help you try to recalibrate the battery. *Locking the thread to curb the conversation to PMs.
