Hey folks. I am in week 3 with my new blade. Everything going great with one exception. Under casual browsing/productivity use (No games and or rendering) in my first 2 weeks, I was getting between 5 and 6 hours out of the battery. Acceptable for a pc with these components. I was fine with it. Then all of a sudden in the last 2 days, I am getting barely 2 hours under the same usage. I also set the monitor to 60Hz instead of 144 which made no difference. Any ideas what might have happened? I have even let it sit with no applications loaded and the drain is still just as fast. Help! I really love everything else about the pc - Hoping I can figure out what is happening.

    So I found the issue. I will document here in case anyone else runs into the issue. No problems with the Blade, seems to be an issue across many brands of laptops. I own a Corsair mouse (Dark Core RGB) and normally just use the onboard profiles. A few days ago I loaded the iCue software to make some changes to the profiles. And even though iCue was not running it was drastically draining the battery. I uninstalled it and the battery estimate went instantly from 2hr to 10 hr. Wow, ya got to be kidding me Corsair! From some research, problem stems from the "Corsair Service" which constantly runs as a Windows service even when the application is not running.
