I am facing the same issue with Razer V2 hyperspeed. This is frustrating.

Same - Razor Basilisk V3. 1st battery drained in a week. 2nd new battery put in yesterday and already down to 60%. My Logitech lasts literally like a year.

Same issue here

same problem.

I have the same problem. I try a lot of batteries and I see that the battery runs out very quickly. I can't use the mouse because of plugging and unplugging. I bought the same mouse for the second time because I liked the mouse ergonomics. But I can't stand it anymore. I'm tired of changing batteries and it always fails me. Please help me also.

Same issue here! I already replaced two duracell bateries in one month. The draining speed of batteries is impressive!

Started facing the same issue recently. For 2 years the mouse worked fine though.

I have the same issue here! I have already replaced two Duracell batteries in one week. The last one went to 5% after two days of use. Is there any solution? Or should we just throw that trash mouse away and buy a different brand?🤔

I have the same issue. I put a new Duracell in today and it died after an hour. Taking the battery out and putting it back in again works, in that it buys me another few hours, maybe. It is very frustrating. I won’t get another Razer mouse.

Same issue here. The mouse was great for like four or five months, and then it just started dying super fast.  Currently, I go around a week or so in between battery changes, and I had to stock up on AA batteries specifically for this issue. At first I’m usually able to take the battery out, blow on it, and put it back in, which gives the mouse a few more hours before I have to adjust the it again, but at some point it just dies. Never tried the Bluetooth function. Tonight I replaced the battery and the thing immediately died, so this has to be a serious issue with the mouse.

I see some people here bought fancy batteries to try and save this mouse, but to be honest, for the amount of money I spent on this thing, as well as the fact that I’m using it in conjunction with a Razor laptop, I don’t feel like the battery type should matter. It’s such a shame that Razor doesn’t appear to be responding to this problem.

same issue with battery drain so fast. I had for 2 months and had change 4 batteries. 1st I was using rechargeable battery eneloop pro [suppose to be good battery since i use them for camera flash] but it dies so fast that I thought is a faulty rechargeable battery. After using 2 times rechargeable batteries it still drain so fast within 2-3 weeks, i decided to replace to energizer max plus. Still the same issue dies within 3 weeks.

WTF razer, this issue seems to be a long issues for years.

Same problem here. I have a Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed mouse since 2022 and is draining batteries very fast. Now i am using some rechargable batteries, but these  are also drained very fast. Does anybody find a solution for this issue? It is very annoing, i have to check the battery level before i enter a game to avoid to remain without battery in the middle of the action.

I've had a Basilisk X Hyperspeed for 15 months now. In the last 2 weeks or so, it feels like it is draining the battery super fast or at least the hardware thinks it is. I just put in a new Duracell AA a week ago, as the low battery message was appearing and 5 days later I got the same message. I put in another fresh battery yesterday and today the low battery message appeared again. I've tried the Razer support guidance about checking the firmware is up to date and that Windows (11 in my case) is up to date and they were already up to date. I usually connect using 2.4ghz wireless rather than bluetooth but when following the support procedure for checking firmware it said to connect via BT. When I did I noticed the PC telling me battery was at 13% despite only being put in the previous day. Anyone else experienced similar recently and have a resolution. Previously i the battery had lasted months.

I have the same issue with mine and I usually shut it off between use but it only lasts about a week or two and I am putting another battery in, conversely I have a Cherry Mouse with same features essentially as the razor and Only changed that battery once and I bought them both the same month.  I have changed the Razor now about 6 times.  It is not very efficient whatever it is that is drawing power.
