Subject: Warranty Replacement Request: BlackShark V3 Wireless Stuck at 0% Battery / Won't Charge

Hi Razer Support Team,

I am reaching out to request a warranty inspection and replacement for my Razer BlackShark V3 Wireless headset, which has developed a severe battery and charging defect.

The headset functions perfectly when it is actively plugged into my PC via the USB cable, but it has completely lost its ability to hold a charge or function wirelessly.

Here are the specific details of the issue:

  • The Problem: The headset is completely stuck at 0% battery. As soon as the charging cable is disconnected, it immediately powers off and will not turn on in wireless mode.

  • Troubleshooting Already Attempted: * I have left the headset to charge for over 12 hours straight.

    • I tried charging it through multiple sources, including different PC USB ports and directly into a standard wall outlet plugin.

    • I attempted to force-reset the power state by turning it on while connected to Razer Synapse, but the battery readout remains permanently frozen at 0%.

Because it functions normally while wired but completely fails to draw power into the internal battery, I believe the internal battery controller has failed or the lithium cell is defective.

The headset has not been exposed to any physical or liquid damage. Could you please guide me through the next steps to initiate the RMA process?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Hi Tatminator,

I understand you’re having battery issues with your Razer BlackShark V3. Since the headset works while plugged in but shuts off right away once disconnected and stays stuck at 0%, it does sound like a charging or battery-related problem. Just to check a few things first, do you see any charging light when it’s plugged in, have you also tried a different USB-C cable, does Synapse always show 0% or does it change at all, and did this happen suddenly or did the battery start draining faster before this? When you get a chance, please send me a PM with the device serial number, proof of purchase, and your region so I can check what warranty options may be available for you. Save the shareable files via any online drive account listed here. Have a good one!
