Best practice for swapping mechanical switches (not keycaps) for BlackWidow3

I recently purchased a Razer BlackWidow3 under the premise (asked in razer chat support) that I could change the switches if I do not like the Razer Greens (Coming from old blackwidow that used Cherry MX Blues and they're similar but not quite the same and I want to change the razer greens out) What is the best and safest way to change switches? I have a switch/keycap puller and have tested on a numpad, but they are not coming out and I don't want to cause any damage Are these switches soldered onto the board directly? Is it possible to change the switches out?
