Blachsark V2 X Splitter Cable Broken

I’ve been going insane for hours and this is the only thing I can think of. My PC has different plug ins for microphone and headphones. When I plug the Blackshark V2 X headset into just the headphone slot, it works perfectly. If I plug the headset into just the microphone slot, the microphone works (I plugged in different headphones into the headphones slot to hear it). However, when I use the splitter that came with the headset, only the headphones work and the mic doesn’t work unless im screaming and even then is overrun with static. I just need this resolved
