Black screen on Sony bravia tv

I'm using a ripsaw from an xbox series x to a laptop then to a Sony bravia. I can see the menu page on streamlabs with my camera over the top but there's no image repeated on the TV. I have seen on YouTube that a HDMI splitter can be used, is this correct and if so do I need to use both slots on the splitter or just one from xbox to cap card, thanks inadvance.

    It is strongly recommended to use the HDMI cable that came with the box. Were you able to isolate the problem by removing the splitter from your set-up? I also suggest you try to reinstall the drivers and make sure Windows OS is updated.
