I’ve had this problem for a few months, when I tugged the wire so hard hard it made it so I could only hear a muffled sound when listening to music or videos. I could use the transceiver but there are no replacement parts {that aren't 40 bucks on amazon} and my warranty is way overdue.
I’ve tried turning on mono audio but just made the audio worse.
I used different headphones and it worked on those pairs.
