Black Widow v4 pro E, O and shift Key problems

Hello,

I was already having issues with my E and O keys a few weeks ago. Strangely enough, I was able to fix them by changing the polling rate in Synapse from 1000 Hz to 2000 Hz. Right after the May 25 Synapse update, my problem with the E and O keys started up again. After I downloaded the latest firmware, it got even worse! My E key sometimes stops working for a split second when I press it. As of today, my Shift key is also affected.

I’ve already written to support, and they said they’d get back to me, but there’s not much they can do since my warranty has already expired. What I’ve noticed is that when I remove the keycap from the E key, it works without any issues… Do I really have a hardware problem, or is this actually due to the latest update?

What I’ve already tried:
Cleaning the keyboard

Firmware update

Different USB port
Different PC

Uninstalling Synapse
Hard reset of the keyboard

Here’s an example of how the keyboard types when I press ‘e’ and ‘r’ in succession for a certain amount of time:

And here without the keycap on the E key:

ererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererererer

I've already tried other keycaps, but no matter which ones I use, the problem persists…

Thanks in advance for your help.

If it’s the same on other PC without Synapse - then HW problem.

I’d pourr few drops of isopropyl alcohol into the faulty key and pres it few times, leave it to evaporate. If it doesn’t help - only switch replacement will help here (requires soldering),

Thanks for the reply. Support just wrote back saying they can't help me because the warranty has expired. When I asked if they could send me a link to older firmware for my keyboard, they just said that wasn't possible… Since I've seen several videos where Razer hardware was flashed with older firmware, I'm assuming support just doesn't want to help me.

When I asked why all my macros still work even though I completely uninstalled Synapse, I didn’t get an answer either.

Maybe someone here in the forum can help me?

I’ve ordered new switches and a tool, and I’ll install them tomorrow. I hope that solves my problem.
