Blackshark V2 7.1 or not?

I purchased a Blackshark v2 headset as it said it has 7.1 sound. How do I use this? In my sound settings I'm using the THX spatial setting but games are only seeing this as stereo, example playing Horizon Zero Dawn on PC my audio says THX spatial(stereo). How do I get it to use 7.1, do I need to purchase the 7.1 upgrade?

    Can you send me a screenshot of the surround sound setting in your Synapse and of how the surround sound is detected when you're playing that game? I'd also appreciate it if you can send me the serial number of your headset. I can use that to verify its model and check its specifications.
