Question

blackShark V2 Pro 3.5mm?

IOLITErushJellyBean992

I have a ps portal and as an audio output I can only use 3.5mm or sony’s own headset. I have BlacksharkV2 Pro and was wondering that if I could use a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter to connect my headset to it. Will it work?

I was thinking of buying a Kraken v4 X but i was going to run into the same problem of needing a 3.5 while the headset had a USB C. Did you ever find out about if it worked for you?

I still use the Blackshark v2 Pro, but got mine sometime in 2022. For anyone who may want to know: The 2020 HW version has a dedicated 3.5mm AUX port,  a mono 3.5 AUX port for the mic, and a micro-USB (type-B) charging port. The 2023 HW version swapped the main AUX port and micro-USB out for the newer USB type-C standard, but from every knowledge base I've checked online, the newer headset is effectively wireless only (unless someone with their hands on the 2023+ model can verify if a USB-C dock with 3.5mm AUX support can receive audio output). My only other guess would be to try the (THX-certified, Razer official) USB-C (male) to 3.5mm AUX (female) adapter that came with the Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2, and it may also be possible to find a generic one online.
