As the title says, it’s enabled in windows, set to default device yadda yadda all the usual stuff, but it’s just not being detected.

Windows knows it’s there but even with volume at 100% on both mic and headset audio, not a peep while attempting to listen to it.

I don’t really use the mic as I have an external boom, but for a backup, I’d really quite like it working too.

Hi Tactical_Hotdog,

I’m here to help. I understand your Razer BlackShark V2 Pro microphone stopped working after the Razer Synapse update. Let's try a few workarounds to fix it. Please follow these steps:

1. Make sure all cables and connections are secure. Sometimes a loose connection can cause detection issues.

2. Double-check that your mic is set as the default device in both "Playback" and "Recording" tabs in the Windows Sound settings.

3. Ensure that your audio drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager in Windows.

4. Kindly check the Microphone Privacy Settings. Go to "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Microphone" and ensure apps have permission to use the mic.

If the steps don’t resolve the issue, please perform the troubleshooting guide from this article to help us resolve microphone issue. If you need additional assistance, please PM me with your device serial number so I can check for firmware update available. Have a great day!
