I attempted to put this in a "normal" forum(?), but it recommended I put it here...
Ordinary PC. Windows 10 Pro. Blackshark about 2 weeks old.
Microphone HAS worked. Not working this time when needed.
Yes, it's plugged in, and properly connected. Speakers work fine, so it's connected to the PC.
No sound input from the microphone.
Have checked sound settings and Blackshark mic is selected.
Have checked setting and Blackshark mic is set to default Recording device.
Apps/programs are allowed to use the microphone.
Have uninstalled in Device Manager and re-installed.
Have tried it with Synapse ON and OFF. No mic.
I'm out of ideas... I'm planning to talk to support when they finally open. If that doesn't work, it goes back.

Never mind. Not a problem any more. Razer Blackshark returned to retailer and switched to a different manufacturer.
