BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless - Sidetone Too Quiet
Three days in and so far I love this headset, which is saying a lot because it has had big shoes to fill. I have gotten everything to work well and I believe there are big advantages to using Synapse with a headset. HOWEVER.
Side tone, an essential feature for headphones that are so good at dampening external sound, is barely audible when maxed out. I have searched through EVERY THREAD ON THE INTERNET about this problem and I am very disappointed that Razer has apparently tried nothing to fix it (and seem to be all out of ideas). Why are we being asked to send the units back for warranty returns? They all do this. It's a design flaw, not an anomalous fault. But seems to be a flaw so easily fixable.
I have fully updated Synapse as of yesterday, the headset firmware is current, the microphone volume is at 100% in every other Windows or other software setting possible, and with Side tone set to 100% I still need to have my headset volume cranked all the way to max just to hear anything at all (still very quiet even at max everything).
Is there a timeline for getting this addressed? My headset is dual-use as a remote salesperson and as a gamer, and the barely-there sidetone is almost a dealbreaker for me.
