So I have had this amazing head set for over a year and I’m very happy with it. Recently, I started having a problem where if I turn the volume knob, I start hearing crackling and I have to literally slowly turn the volume knob until sound is equal and thorough in both ears because when I turn it all the way up, the sound is lower in the left ear, so then I slowly turn it until its equal...
I have had many people with the same problem and I also have this problem with my blackshark v2. It seems to be happening to people with a certain model. The audio starts to shift to the right headphone when I put it above 50% and completely shifts to the right side when the knob is at max volume. It also starts to crackle wehn I put it above 80%.
Actually found a temporary fix for this. I just twisted the knob for like 5 minutes and fixed the issue. It also improved the audio quality from doing this.
I’m having this issue as well. Below the 50-60% mark I get left ear only. Above that I get both sides. I’m assuming it’s just bad QC and parts wearing out rather than a driver issue.

damn that works thanks bro
this thread saved me from giving up on this headset yall
Just chiming in to say the same thing has been happening to me for 6 months and is suddenly getting worse. Crackling/No left audio is now happening when I adjust the headband (possbibly shifting the volume knob or internal left ear circuitry).
I’m close to taking the pads off and seeing if I can resolder the volume knob/replace it with some kind of simple cheap potentiometer, but good to see that I’m not the only one with this problem
