Subject: 7.1 Surround Sound Activation Code Issue - Razer BlackShark V2 X

Dear Razer Support Team,

I am writing to request a new activation code for the 7.1 Surround Sound for my Razer BlackShark V2 X headset.

When I tried to register my product using the serial number to receive the activation code, I received an error message stating: "This product is already registered."

Here are my product details:

  • Product Model: Razer BlackShark V2 X (RZ04-03240100)
  • Serial Number (SN): [*removed by moderator]

I want to verify if it is an authentic Razer product and obtain a functional activation code. Attached are photos of the headset, the serial number sticker, and a screenshot of the error message for your review.

    Hey ​@sharpFernGreenwire919,

    Upon verifying in our system, it would seem that your headset's serial number was registered way back in 2023. Based on the serial number, the headset was manufactured in 2021 and was registered in 2023. There is a risk that products purchased from non authorized resellers are often counterfeit or re-boxed goods. I would suggest that you get in touch with your reseller for a refund. Unfortunately, we do not have spare 7.1 Surround activation codes. There have been several reports of counterfeit Blackshark V2 X's who encountered the same issue as you did. All of which with serial numbers allegedly manufactured in 2021. Just send me a PM for any other concerns.
