When I plug in the headset the mic does not appear in the input device field in discord or WhatsApp Etc.
My computer also uses Realtek Audio console if that helps

+1Check advanced settings or something in realtek app.
Every time when you’ll connect an audio device it should ask if it’s headset or headset with mic or speakers etc…
If not, try different realtek driver / app.
