Blackshark V2 X microphone noise leak

So I bought the razer headset Blackshark V2 X. The audio is great and works, but the mic doesn't work at all. When I test the microphone all it does is a constant high pitch noise. I tried both ports on my PC and tower with no luck. When I test the mic, tapping on it registers a sound, but I can barely hear it. When I speak it studders so it's not understandable. The speaker's sound is great, but worthless if I can't get the microphone working. I already updated the drivers, but without luck. I am using Windows 10 (64). I mainly think it's a software error, but not 100% sure. Does anyone know what to do next?
