Realtek audio card?

If yes, try different drivers. In most cases when you connect your headset it should ask which device was connected for eg: speakers, headphones, headphones with microphone.

Hi,

When I plug the device in, there is no "headphones with microphone" option.

How do I try different drivers?

Your quick reply is much appreciated

Depends on your audio card - mostly as said earlier is realtek.

You can try download the newest drivers from motherboard vendor website (for eg. MSI, Asus etc).

Hi team,

I tried to download drivers from Acer. It still isn't working.

Please advise.

Please advise.

Try other drivers directly from realtek for example.

PS. Was the headset properly detected before? Also be sure it’s connected to a combo port, that is both audio in and audio out port.

Yes it used to work properly when the laptop was on Windows 10. There is only 1 audio port.
