As the title clearly states, my wireless dongle is broken after I have updated both it and the headset to the 1.4.4 firmware. Before a trolling razer rep starts asking insulting questions like “have you tried turning it on and off again?”, yes I have tried every single possible thing, including completely formatting my PC and reinstalling everything, trying the headset and dongle on many different PCs, and all other nonsensical things you could think about asking me; the headset itself works when cabled and with bluetooth, but audio via dongle is dead. I can even input commands via the wireless dongle like changing the volume and pausing videos, it’s just the audio that never gets through. You just bricked my 250€ headset with a firmware update, that’s it.
I will be returning the overpriced pieces of crap and never ever buy another razer product again.
This post is just to inform people with the same headset to NOT update to the latest firmware.
