Blackshark V3 Pro volume control knob not working

As the title suggets, my two day old headset volume control knob doesn’t work. When I turn it down, a sound plays and when I turn it the other way, another sound plays. Both result in no volume change. Please help to troubleshoot this issue, thanks.

As the title suggests, I cannot use the volume control knob on my 2 day old headset. When I turn it, it plays a sound and plays another when I turn the knob the other way. Both result in no change of volume control. Please help, thank you.

Hello GraftedSaber,

I’m sorry to hear that the volume knob on your new Razer BlackShark V3 Pro is not working correctly. Since the headset plays a sound when you turn the knob, it appears the input is being detected, but the actual system volume is not changing. Please try the following steps:

  1. Update the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro Firmware.
  2. Update or reinstall Razer Synapse, then check whether the headset is recognized properly.
  3. Test the headset in different connection modes such as 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or USB/wired mode.
  4. Check your PC sound settings and make sure the BlackShark V3 Pro is set as the default playback device.
  5. Restart the headset and reconnect it to your system.
  6. Test the headset on another device to see if the same issue happens there.
