Hello,
I hear mechanical keyboards are supposed to last forever. I've had my Black Widow for less than 2 years, and my '5' key started to skip one or two months ago -- it fails to respond maybe ~50% of the time, same thing if I hold Shift for %. I never dropped it and I don't have kids nor pets.
Is this covered by warranty? Is this something I probably can fix by myself if I am curious enough to unscrew the back panel? Or is there a service center in Maryland I can bring it in for repair?

If you have warranty, RMA it.
If not, you'll need spare mechanical key, disassemble the keyboard and desolder old key, and solder new one to the PCB.

The Blackwidow has a 2 year warranty, so assuming you have had it for less than two years, you should be able to RMA it.

Hi @Jenjar! Thanks for engaging this thread. Allow me to take over.
Hey @firstDarkCyan886! Thanks for posting your keyboard's concern here. Was everything covered? Are you in contact with our Support Team? If you haven't yet, please send me a PM. Let's continue from there.
Hello, thank you for following up. I looked through my email trying to track when i bought my keyboard, and it's past 2 years already.
I updated my Razer Synapse service after posting, and Go Online from offline mode. Also bought some keyboard cleaning spray to blow the dust out. It works a bit better now.
