Blackwidow V3 Tenkeyless Cannot wake up PC from sleep / hibernation

Just purcheased a Blackwidow V3 Tenkeyless, and I cannot use the keyboard to wake up my PC from sleep / hibernation. My last USB keyboard had no issues with this. Also I have a Razer DeathAdder V2 connected and I can wake up my PC perfectly by clicking any mouse button. 

When the PC goes to sleep / hibernate, if I press any keyboard key immediately after going to sleep / hibernate, it wakes up. But if I wait more than a minute or two, I cannot use the keyboard to wake up anymore, just the mouse.

I followed this steps but still not working.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I just picked up the same keyboard and I’m having the same issue. I had been using a different Razer keyboard and it worked fine to wake the PC from sleep.

 

It’s a bit discouraging that you posted this 4 months ago and never got any input.

Got the same issue, any status update on this , found a solution?

I’d reached out to their support directly via Synapse.

After a number of back and forth emails with video illustrating the issue, I got this reply on 10/18/23:

 

“We wanted to let you know that we have managed to identify the cause of the issue that you have reported.

Due to the complexity and the work that needs to be done, we are unable to provide an estimate of when you can expect a fix. However, once a fix has been identified, this will be released in a future software update.”
 

The issue is, obviously, still happening, so who knows if we will ever see a fix.

Wow, so much time. Sounds like a firmware power Issue. Hope will not get into “never been fixed” category.

I have the same issue, I just bought that keyboard this week. It works fine if I press it as soon my laptop goes to sleep but it won't work if I wait a bit long. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem since I have tried everything since the device manager to the bios settings and nothing worked.

THEY FIXED IT!
Update your keyboard firmware to the newest version 1.03.00

Go to the drivers update section and download the file attached.
